Ovation Press String Visions
String Visions is a resource center for the 21st century musician. Its aim is to inform and inspire contemporary classical musicians through the latest news and discoveries, providing a platform where innovative and creative ideas will form an important dialogue about the transformation of classical music in the modern world.
String Visions provides access to videos, interviews with famous artists, and articles about string technique, trends, tips, and more on its website at http://stringvisions.ovationpress.com. The site was founded by Colin Cronin, an entrepreneur with a passion and vision for classical music; Hans Jørgen Jensen, distinguished professor of cello at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and co-founder of Ovation Press; and Michael Buck, co-founder and President of Ovation Press. Together, they gather a team of professionals, experts, college students, and high school students to contribute content to the site, making it relevant to the broadest audience possible. Contributors take the time to share their thoughts with their readers, forming a free online resource for the musical community.
